Even though the summit in Copenhagen has been somewhat of a failure, on a national level countries are still doing their best to reduce their carbon footprint. In many cases, they focus on the individuals, and promise them small savings in return for investing in green technology.
Even though the environment seems to be the most important reason to cut back on CO2 emissions, for companies this reason might not be convincing. Of course, many companies are concerned with the environment, but as soon as taking measures requires spending money, they will have to reconsider.
The Chinese government in its bid to promote environmental friendly vehicles will go for subsidisation in the sales of green vehicles, states Reuters UK. This comes as no surprise since China has been trying to do its bit for cut in fuel emissions.
